It has become necessary to simplify the Play! Hoboken business model because tracking hundreds of daily customer visits in eleven different attractions over the course of a busy (700+ customer) day required would require too much personnel.
Customers who are ‘just watching’ or supervising their children will be charged the same rate as anyone else in the group, but we will have a special for afterschool hours where chaperones are free or discounted.
As it’s too difficult to track customers doing different activities throughout the store, we will now have a two hour wristband for $25 per person which includes everything except for golf and bowling. A one hour option and an all-day option are presently also available. These wristbands are available as a type of reservation on our website and may be prepaid.
Golf and bowling are very different as each machine is rented to their own group for a long period of time. Machines may be reserved for 1-5 hours (golf) or 1-2 hours (bowling) through our website booking. Customers who walk-in may be able to rent a machine (golf or bowling) at a pro-rated rate with a slight discount (no guarantees on availability or how long they may play). Whether reserved or walking in, a maximum of five people may be assigned to a machine, even if some of the people are choosing not to play. This is due to space limitations.
We will continue to have various packages for groups including children’s parties, adult parties, team building, corporate events, schools and camps. These are either available to book on our website or custom quoted.
We will continue to have monthly memberships for regulars. In the near future we intend to combine memberships to further simplify the business, but for now they remain as they’ve been.
