Play! Hoboken partners with local pediatric dental practices to help families put excess Halloween candy to great use. Children can exchange their leftover sweets for claw machine tokens and redeem them for prizes!

How It Works

  1. Drop-Off: Bring excess or unwanted Halloween candy to a participating pediatric dental office.
  2. Earn Tokens: Dentists issue 1 Play! Hoboken token per pound of candy (up to a maximum of 5 tokens per child).
  3. Play & Win: Redeem tokens at Play! Hoboken for claw machines, games, and prizes (such as plush toys).

Program Details & Guidelines

  • Exchange Rate: 1 token = 1 lb of candy
  • Limit: Maximum 5 tokens per participant
  • Confirmed Partners: Nova Dental (with additional local pediatric dentists joining as Halloween approaches)
  • Dentist Participation: If your family’s pediatric dentist is not currently enrolled, contact Play! Hoboken directly to help bring them on board.
